If there’s one man who’s made magic and illusions cool again it’s the little man from Bradford – Dynamo. His street illusions are a must watch – and usually completely unfathomable – and he’s often coaxed in a celebrity face or three to perform illusions with as it makes for more marketable TV . That combination is something Mercedes couldn’t resist as a PR vehicle, so they enlisted Dynamo, David Coulthard, a Mercedes SL63 AMG and an abandoned airfield to produce a new Dynamo illusion to promote the SL63 AMG.
The 2012 Ford B-Max has sector best economy and emissions
With the 2102 Ford B-Max due to debut in production guise at Geneva in a few weeks, Ford are claiming sector best emissions and economy. Just last week we had the first photos of the production version of the 2012 Ford B-Max, heralding the arrival of Ford’s new compact MPV at Geneva 2012, ahead of its arrival in Ford showrooms in the Summer. Now Ford are keen to let us know that the B-Max isn’t just a cleverly designed and decent-looking MPV, but it’s got the competition nailed with class-leading figures for economy and emissions.
THRUXTON race circuit will be the venue for a new series of historic motorsport, as a championship for older touring cars will make its debut over the forthcoming Easter weekend. Thanks to the likes of Goodwood's popular Revival meeting for historically significant race cars, interest in such formats is on the rise. Along with genuinely historic machinery, the circuit will play host to the inaugural round of the new Super Touring Car Championship.
